JASSW CENTENNIAL BOOK

In the autumn of 2023, I was approached by the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW) to create the second installment of their centennial book. Using Adobe InDesign, I created this 88-page magazine-size book that showcases events from 1984 to 2023. The contents include historical imagery,  quotes from prominent leaders in the Japan-America cooperative community, and writings by JASSW staff and members that illustrate the important events and community outreach the organization has committed to Washington state. My favorite part of this design was the opportunity to design letters by world leaders like US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
